  • Available in Builder, agent chats, Megachat, Analyst and Designer.
  • Provider requests run through the local runtime on your PC, using your own subscription.
  • Codex models follow the provider’s current catalog, including its recommended default.

Your provider’s usage limits and terms apply. Other Donkit services may use Donkit credits.

How personal subscriptions work
02 / Computer use

Let agents work in your Windows applications.

Move from a conversation to actions on your PC. Agents can interact with desktop applications and work with files within the access you grant.

  • Choose permitted applications and folders for each agent.
  • Agents carry out steps within those permissions without asking you to approve every click.
  • An on-screen emergency Stop and a keyboard shortcut cancel local tasks and pause computer use.

Review or revoke access in Desktop settings. Protected Windows confirmation screens still require you.

(02)A few details

Before you
get started.

Which platforms are available?

Donkit is available for Windows 10 or 11 PCs with an x64 processor and for Android on Google Play. iOS and macOS are coming soon. You’ll need an internet connection to sign in and use cloud agents and AI providers.

Can I use my existing AI subscription?

Yes, in Donkit Desktop for Windows. Connect OpenAI Codex or Grok in Settings → Desktop app → Manage subscriptions, then select a model under My subscriptions in Builder or chat. Requests use that provider’s service through the runtime on your PC; this does not make the AI model offline. Your provider’s plan limits and terms apply. Other Donkit services may use Donkit credits.

What can an agent access on my computer?

You choose allowed applications and folders for each agent. Within that access, it can act without confirmation for each step. You can revoke permissions in Desktop settings. The on-screen emergency Stop or its keyboard shortcut cancels local tasks and pauses computer use until you resume it. Protected Windows confirmation screens require a manual step. Read our privacy policy.

How do updates work?

Donkit checks for new versions and lets you choose when to download and install them. You can also check from Desktop settings.
