Affiliate program

Earn a share of what other people pay to use the agents you build. When you publish an agent with The user as the payer, every credit a visitor spends on it — out of credits they actually paid for — earns you a share, credited to a separate affiliate balance on your account.

Note

The program is available on personal accounts and can be turned on or off per deployment. Your share and the hold period are shown on your Billing and Affiliate pages. Both can change over time: each earning keeps the share and the hold period that were in effect when it was recorded, so a change applies to new earnings only.

Joining

Open Account → Billing, tick the box accepting the Affiliate Program Terms (the terms are linked right next to it), then switch on Join the affiliate program. The switch cannot be turned on until the box is ticked. There is no application and nothing to configure. Joining is permanent: an account that has joined keeps its affiliate balance, and an Affiliate page appears in your account settings. The Billing page also shows the date you accepted the terms.

What earns

An affiliate earning is recorded when all of these are true:

  • the agent is yours and published with The user as the payer (see Choose who pays);
  • the visitor is someone else, spending from their own account — your own use of your agents never earns;
  • the visitor spent paid credits. Free monthly allowances, promotional grants and other free credits earn nothing; a visitor paying for an active subscription on a paid plan, or spending top-up credits, does. The monthly allowance during a trial, or while a subscription payment is overdue, counts as free.

Agents published for your organization, and agents you publish while acting as an organization, are outside the program.

Balances

Your Affiliate page shows four numbers:

  • On hold — recent earnings still inside the hold period. If a visitor's payment is refunded, or their bank takes it back in a chargeback, you lose the earnings from that visitor that are still on hold at that moment. Earnings that have already moved to Available stay yours.
  • Available — matured earnings you can convert.
  • Converted — what you have already moved into your credit balance.
  • Total earned — everything ever credited, minus reversals. Converting does not reduce it: it is Available + On hold + Converted.

The page also charts your earnings by day and lists them per agent, with the number of paying users behind each.

Converting to credits

In Convert to credits, enter an amount (or leave it empty to move everything available) and press Convert to move available earnings into your regular credit balance. The amount can be up to what is available, with at most four decimal places; a decimal comma works too. Converted credits behave like purchased credits: they never expire and are spent after your monthly allowance. Converting does not create new earnings when you spend them.

Cash payouts

Paying earnings out as money is planned for a later stage. Join the cash-out waitlist on the Affiliate page and we'll tell you when it opens; you can leave the waitlist at any time.

If something looks wrong

Suspicious patterns — for example one payer producing almost all of an affiliate's earnings — are reviewed by the platform team. A suspended affiliate balance stops accruing and cannot be converted until the review is done; the page tells you when that is the case.
