Notifications

The notifications feed collects what the platform wants you to know about in one place: news from the platform team and things that happen in your account while you are away. Open it from the bell in the top row of the rail.

The bell and the panel

A red dot on the bell means you have unread notifications. Click the bell to open a panel with your latest 10 notifications, newest first; unread ones are marked. The title shows the same red dot while something is unread. On a phone the panel fills the screen over the menu, and Back in its header returns to the menu.

  • Each notification is an open card: the title and the full text. Unread cards stay marked.
  • A card can carry a link. Open goes to the place it points at and marks that notification read.
  • Mark all read sits opposite the title and clears the red dot in one click. That row stays in place while the list scrolls.
  • All notifications opens the history page.

The panel and the dot update on their own while the app is open; you don't need to reload the page.

In the Mac app the bell is at the top of the sidebar, and Open takes you to the matching screen in the app. Project questions also arrive as macOS notifications that you can answer in place; see In the Mac app.

The history page

All notifications opens the full list at /notifications. It works like the panel, but shows every notification you have received, a page at a time; use Load more to go further back. Open, when the card has a link, marks that notification read. Mark all read sits opposite the title, and that row stays in place while you scroll the list. On a phone the title is in the top bar, and Mark all read is there too, at the right.

What appears in the feed

Kind When it appears
Announcement News from the platform team: a new feature, a change, planned maintenance.
Agent built An agent you asked for is ready.
Import done / Import failed An import you started has finished, or has failed.
Workflow failed A workflow of your agent failed.
Credits Your account has run out of credits.
Decision An agent is waiting for your decision.
Task A task is waiting for you, for example a question that needs an answer.

Replies in your chats are not in the feed: a chat with a new reply shows as unread in the chat list.

A decision or a task that is waiting for you is marked as read when you open it, wherever you open it from, so the red dot doesn't stay on for something you have already seen.

Push and email

Some announcements from the platform team are also sent to you by push to your phone or by email. Push follows your notification settings. Announcement emails follow the marketing unsubscribe: every email has an unsubscribe link, and once you use it you stop receiving them. The announcement itself still appears in the feed.
